WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT

Aside from everything that’s offered at Xtreme Student Ministries, the most important thing of all is the relevant teaching and the dynamic worship that together brings students to a closer love of God. Each week Pastor Tim Defendorf brings an applicable and relevant word from God that the students can carry with them throughout the rest of their week and beyond. Xtreme’s worship team; Pursuit of Red, ushers in the anointing of God with life-changing worship. The purpose of Xtreme is to see young lives changed, build Godly relationship, and become disciples of Christ that are trained to do the works that Jesus did and greater. We are not your average youth ministry, we are a movement determined to change lives for Jesus Christ.

Pastor Tim Defendorf

Pastor Tim Defendorf is the Youth Pastor at Xtreme. He has been in ministry for over 18 years. Pastor Tim has great experience, relevant ideas and the ability to lead the youth. His desire is to see youth from all over, accept Christ, become discipled and grow together as a movement making disciples of others. Pastor Tim has an amazing support in his wife, Rachel, who jumps right in and is a very active part in the ministry. They have 3 boys; Blake who is 11, Kaleb who is 6, and Linkin who is 1.   Pastor Tim has an open door policy in the youth and encourages parents to come and witness what their youth are learning. Pastor Tim believes that the method of drawing in youth is not sacred, but the message that reaches them is. With the services designed around drawing the youth into a closer relationship with Christ, Pastor Tim feels that through dynamic worship, relevant preaching and serving others, kids will be challenged and their hearts will be changed.
